Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Aawaz — by 8848 Labs — collects, why, and how we handle it. Aawaz is an expressive Nepali text-to-speech product. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the service.
Who we are
Aawaz (आवाज़) is a Nepali voice AI service operated by 8848 Labs, based in Kathmandu. For any privacy question, contact us at pathaksandesh025@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Account info: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo — used only to identify your account.
- Text you enter: the text you type into the Studio to generate speech.
- Generated audio: the speech we produce for you, saved to your account so you can find it under My Recordings.
- Voice recordings: if you use voice cloning, the audio you record and its transcript (covered in more detail below).
- Basic technical data: standard logs your browser sends (such as IP and device type) needed to serve and secure the site.
- Visit data: when you open a page we record which page it was, the site that linked you here, and ordinary details your browser reports — browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and time zone. This is our own first-party counter: no third-party analytics, no advertising trackers, and nothing that follows you to other sites. We store a one-way hash of your IP address, not the address itself.
How we use it
We use your data to generate speech, save your recordings to your account, operate and secure the service, and respond to you. We do not use it for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell it.
Sign-in and third parties
We use Google Firebase Authentication to sign you in. When you choose "Sign in with Google," Google handles the login and shares your basic profile with us. Google's handling of that step is governed by Google's own privacy policy. We do not receive or store your Google password.
Voice cloning
Voice cloning is strictly opt-in. If you clone a voice, we collect only the recording you make and its transcript, use it solely to build your private voice, never share or sell it, and never use it to train shared or public models. A recording that recreates how you sound may count as biometric data under some laws, so we ask for explicit consent first. You may only clone your own voice.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data, recordings, and generated audio until you delete them or ask us to close your account. Visit data is kept for up to a year and then deleted automatically. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing pathaksandesh025@gmail.com, and we'll remove it from our systems.
Your choices
- Access or delete your data — email us and we'll help.
- Delete a cloned voice or a saved recording at any time.
- Sign out to end your session on this device.
Children
Aawaz is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and show significant changes before they take effect.

हामी के सङ्कलन गर्छौं
- खाता जानकारी: तपाईंले Google बाट साइन इन गर्दा हामी तपाईंको नाम, इमेल र प्रोफाइल फोटो पाउँछौं — खाता चिन्न मात्र प्रयोग हुन्छ।
- तपाईंले हाल्ने पाठ: बोली बनाउन स्टुडियोमा टाइप गर्ने पाठ।
- बनेको अडियो: हामीले बनाएको बोली, तपाईंको खातामा सुरक्षित — My Recordings मा भेटिन्छ।
- आवाज रेकर्डिङ: भ्वाइस क्लोनिङ प्रयोग गर्नुभए, तपाईंले रेकर्ड गर्नुभएको अडियो र त्यसको ट्रान्सक्रिप्ट (तल विस्तृत)।
- आधारभूत प्राविधिक डेटा: साइट चलाउन र सुरक्षित राख्न ब्राउजरले पठाउने सामान्य लग (जस्तै IP र डिभाइस प्रकार)।
- भ्रमण डेटा: तपाईंले कुनै पृष्ठ खोल्दा कुन पृष्ठ थियो, कुन साइटबाट आउनुभयो, र ब्राउजरले बताउने सामान्य विवरण — ब्राउजर, अपरेटिङ सिस्टम, डिभाइस प्रकार, स्क्रिन आकार, भाषा र समय क्षेत्र — हामी रेकर्ड गर्छौं। यो हाम्रै आफ्नै गणक हो: कुनै तेस्रो-पक्ष एनालिटिक्स छैन, विज्ञापन ट्र्याकर छैन, र तपाईंलाई अन्य साइटसम्म पछ्याउने केही छैन। IP ठेगाना आफै होइन, त्यसको एकतर्फी ह्यास मात्र राख्छौं।
कसरी प्रयोग गर्छौं
तपाईंको डेटा बोली बनाउन, रेकर्डिङ तपाईंको खातामा सुरक्षित गर्न, सेवा चलाउन र सुरक्षित राख्न, र तपाईंलाई जवाफ दिन प्रयोग हुन्छ। विज्ञापन वा प्रोफाइलिङका लागि प्रयोग हुँदैन, र हामी बेच्दैनौं।
साइन-इन र तेस्रो पक्ष

भ्वाइस क्लोनिङ पूर्ण रूपमा स्वैच्छिक हो। तपाईंले आवाज क्लोन गर्नुभए, हामी तपाईंले रेकर्ड गर्नुभएको अडियो र ट्रान्सक्रिप्ट मात्र सङ्कलन गर्छौं, केवल तपाईंकै निजी आवाज बनाउन प्रयोग गर्छौं, कहिल्यै साझा वा बेच्दैनौं, र साझा वा सार्वजनिक मोडेल तालिम दिन कहिल्यै प्रयोग गर्दैनौं। तपाईं कस्तो सुनिनुहुन्छ पुनःनिर्माण गर्ने रेकर्डिङ केही कानुनअन्तर्गत बायोमेट्रिक डेटा मानिन सक्छ, त्यसैले पहिले स्पष्ट सहमति माग्छौं। तपाईंले आफ्नै आवाज मात्र क्लोन गर्न सक्नुहुन्छ।
कति समय राख्छौं
तपाईंले मेटाउने वा खाता बन्द गर्न नभनेसम्म हामी तपाईंको खाता डेटा, रेकर्डिङ र बनेको अडियो राख्छौं। भ्रमण डेटा बढीमा एक वर्षसम्म राखिन्छ र त्यसपछि स्वतः मेटिन्छ। pathaksandesh025@gmail.com मा इमेल गरेर जुनसुकै बेला डेटा मेटाउन अनुरोध गर्न सक्नुहुन्छ, हामी प्रणालीबाट हटाउँछौं।

आवाज़ १३ वर्षमुनिका बालबालिकाका लागि होइन, र हामी जानीजानी उनीहरूको डेटा सङ्कलन गर्दैनौं।
परिवर्तन
नीति परिवर्तन गरे माथिको मिति अद्यावधिक गर्नेछौं, र महत्त्वपूर्ण परिवर्तनहरू लागू हुनुअघि देखाउनेछौं।
